Paper Negative Fine Art From Kim Kershner

Kim Kershner, owner of Kershner Studios, developed his paper negative photography technique in the mid 1980s. This technique starts with a traditional black and white photographic negative then, through several steps, creates a full size paper negative, from which, in turn, the final print is made and hand colored. This technique, though beautiful, is not condusive to commercial art applications. To this end, Mr. Kershner has transferred his technique to digital formatting allowing for increased flexibility as well as improved cost effectiveness.
